What a lovely follow up programme.
Never thought a Little Chef would make the Good Food Guide. There's hope for British motorway service food yet.
Ian Pegler, the boss of Little Chef, had been reprogrammed on a media awareness course - what a 'can do' man he turned out to be, even when visibly riled. A perfect testimonial for whoever retrained him.
Shame the food quality on my recent visit had nose dived slightly (again) since the making of the follow up.

Well I never thought that charisma-lite bald chef would ever poison more people than any other single Little Chef...

Mmm fond memories of Lil' Chef.
My Dad used to take me there all the time. And he let me have pancakes for my main course then pancakes for my pudding. (Didn't see him very often so I got away with murder whenever he took me to places such as this and McDonalds...!)

Mmm, the pancakes were great.
Mr LL requested Little Chef meals for two birthdays many moons ago. And he still remembers them over the posh restaurants.

Saw the original and watching the re-visit now. Excellent story - enjoying it very much.
Still think it should have been called 'Heston's Services' though ...

Are either of these programmes hidden away on iPlayer - I can't find them.

The original was aired back in March I think.
